Compass latest FEM technology applied to Structural Analyses

RamSeries is a complete finite element (FEM) environment for structural analysis. RamSeries offers the ability to simulate every structural aspect of a product, thanks to its full range of capabilities, including linear statics, modal analysis, linear and non-linear transient simulations, impact, coupled fluid-structure analyses, thermo-mechanical studies, fatigue assessment and much more. RamSeries is the simulation solution to rapidly solve complex structural problems with ease.

Among the features offered, RamSeries COMPOSITE enables the analysis of structures made of laminated composite shells and beam stiffeners. RamSeries COMPOSITE provides an advanced interface to define materials, plies and stacking sequences. Furthermore, the plies can be accurately oriented on the structure, using the most flexible tools based on local axis and reference lines definition. A key feature of RamSeries COMPOSITE is the capability of determining the critical strain and stress in every ply, using LaRC04 (six failure modes) and Tsai-Wu (global, and per ply security factor) failure criteria.
